Manacapuru is a Brazilian municipality located in the Metropolitan Region of Manaus, in the state of Amazonas. It is the third most populous city in the state with 101,883 inhabitants, according to the 2022 Brazilian Demographic Census carried out by IBGE. Located on the banks of the Solimões River, 93 kilometers from Manaus by land, the main access to the city is via the Manoel Urbano Highway, where the Jornalista Phelippe Daou Bridge is located, being fundamental for the integration and development of Greater Manaus.
